IPSY Bag for August 2013

This month's theme for the bag was Glamour Academy and they sampled items from 11 Brands this month.  Here is what I received in my bag:

 

The first item is from Michael Todd, it is the Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask. It says it is suitable for all skin types except sensitive.  Full size cost $34.00 and can be purchased HERE

 

Next is the Noya Kosher Natural Lip Balm in Cherry.  It is a very moisturizing lip balm and had a great scent, not over powering.  This retails for $3.99 and can be purchased HERE

 

The third item in my bag, is from Pacifica and its their Alight Multi-Mineral BB Cream All-in-one with shade matching technology.  Full size retails for $16.00 and can be purchased HERE

 

 

The BB cream has a very nice consistency and had a nice light coverage on the skin.

 

Next is the Pixi Lash Boost Mascara in No.2 Blackest Black.  The full size retails for $17.00 and can be purchased HERE

 

Final item in my bag is the MICA beauty Cosmetics shimmer powder in 17 Bronze.  This product is cruelty free and made in the USA.  Retails for $14.95 and can be purchased HERE

 

Here is the shade in the lid, to help minimize lots of product in the lid, I just punch one of the holes out and leave the rest closed off.  This helps to keep more product in the bottom and less in the upper portion.

March 2013 Ipsy MyGlam Bag

Its that time of the month again, my Ipsy bag has arrived.  For those who don't know what Ipsy is, its a subscription service for $10 and each month they send you a makeup bag with 4-5 deluxe or full size beauty related samples.  Enough gibberish, lets get to the good stuff...

This month's theme was The Great Escape.

 

This is a look at everything that was included in this month's bag

 

This month's bag was so cute and alittle different from other month's.  I love the anchors on it and the inside is white. 

 

First item is the LA Fresh travel-lite Makeup Remover wipes.  I love LA Fresh products so I'm excited we received these this month.

 

Second item is from GlamRX.  It is a mirrored palette that has a magnetic bottom to hold de-potted makeup products.

The third and fourth item in this month's bag are two shadows from yaby.  I am not familiar with this brand.  The two shades I received are azalea petal, which is a pretty brown burgundy shade.  The other shade is called seashell, which is a pretty shimmery highlight shade

Here are the two shades inside the GlamRX palette, because they have a magnetic bottom the eyeshadows will stay in place.  Perfect for on the go makeup.

 

The final product is from Juice beauty and its their Hydrating Mist.  That tones and refreshes.  Its a nice size sample and a bonus that its certified organic.

 

Well there you have it this month's Ipsy bag and I have to say I'm really happy with the selections this month and the change in bag with the pattern.

Ulta Haul

So a new ulta opened up where we just moved here in Wisconsin.  I decided to check it out and got a few things as well.  These were all purchased before my no buy started in March 2013
